Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the stunning landscape of the Belgian Ardennes, Vallée les Étoiles is the perfect escape for any traveler, especially one enamored with both nature and exquisite beer. My recent Christmas getaway here transported me away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and I thoroughly enjoyed the charming wooden chalets that seamlessly blend with the surrounding forest and hills. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cozy furnishings and the delightful decorative fireplace that made the space feel like a true home. The spacious front porch facing south offered stunning evening views of sunsets dipping over the Meuse River, perfect for enjoying a craft beer from one of the neighboring breweries. Speaking of brews, it was a joy to visit the Abbey of Leffe nearby, where I indulged in a tasting of their iconic beers, rich with history and flavor. The dining experience at the on-site restaurant, La Bonne Heure, was equally delightful. The menu featured traditional dishes, including rich game meats, and I couldn't resist pairing my meal with a local brew. To top off the experience, the team provided impeccable service, ensuring my friends and I had everything we needed, from breakfast provisions delivered to our chalet to recommendations for nearby attractions. Of course, I can't forget about the kids-my companions included a couple of families. The holiday park is incredibly family-friendly, boasting ample parks and play areas that kept the little ones entertained while the adults enjoyed some leisurely moments by the pool or on the tennis courts. With the splendid backdrop of this picturesque valley, it truly felt like a festive holiday retreat. In summary, Vallée les Étoiles is the ideal destination for unwinding and reconnecting with loved ones amidst nature's best offerings-good food, great beer, and unforgettable memories. If you're seeking a serene getaway rich with local charm, this charming park is a must-visit!
